Instruction

HANDLING AND APPLICATION PREPARATION: 1. Clean surface thoroughly with Scuff & Clean and a damp gray scuff pad, rinse with water and dry. 2. Clean with Plastic & Leather Prep or XXX Universal Surface Cleaner, wiping in one direction to avoid spreading contamination. Note: Bumper Coater - Flexible Black does not require the use of an adhesion promoter when applying to plastic MIXING: DO NOT REDUCE. Bumper Coater - Flexible Black is ready to spray. For best results, use only when can temperature is approximately 70°F (21°C). APPLICATION: BUMPER COATER AEROSOLS Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball rattles to ensure color uniformity and to prevent clogging. Coats: 2-3 light Distance: 6-8" Flash time: 5-10 minutes between coats Coverage: 10 sq. ft. per can @ 1mils DFT Note: Do not rush to reinstall the part. Bumper Coater adhesion improves with time. Full hardness obtained in 48 hours. Note: If clogging develops, remove spray button with a twisting motion and clean with XXX Gun Cleaner or material compliant with VOC regulations in your area. Do not stick pin or other object into can. Gently replace spray button with top of can and spray button pointed away from youNote: After each use, turn can upside down and spray several seconds to clear spray tip. BULK BUMPER COATER - FLEXIBLE BLACK Stir thoroughly. Air Pressure: 8-10 psi at the cap with HVLP equipment 30-35 psi for non-HVLP equipment Coats: 2 medium wet Flash time: 5-10 minutes between coats Coverage: 236 sq. ft. per gallon @ 1 mil DFT Note: To remove imperfections, allow first coat to dry for 15-30 minutes and then lightly sand with 400 grit paper before applying second coat. CLEANUP: Use appropriate cleaning materials compliant with VOC regulations in your area. STORAGE: Bumper Coater should be stored in a cool dry place with adequate ventilation away from heat, sparks or flames. The shelf life of Bumper Coater is 5 years when stored under normal conditions.
